The story of Hope.

Hope. The grand idea of great things to come. Thoughts defined by the intuitive feeling that something great is bound to happen. Hope.

Why is hope so hard to come by? Why is hope so hard to hold on to? I know that Life is much better when hope is involved, it gives you something to look forward to, and to hold on to when the life might be a bit more difficult than usual.

Then what's the secret, to living this life with a hopeful heart. It is easier than you might think. Simply know that there is someone out there who is watching out for you. There is some-one out there who cares. Hope needs that faith on which to stand. And with hope at your side, then life's outlook looks a whole lot better.

Find the one you can always put your faith in, always trust, and always there, and hope will come to stay.

The Blessedness of Love

Many Many Times before, I have heard the saying, to love and be loved, that is the heart of life. And I am here to tell you that oh it is so true. So true indeed. There is a real value in loving another that will lift up your soul to heights that you knew not before, and sharpen mold your character into a form of perfection. And again loving another will bring you joys that never knew existed, and a hope that will never fail.

A love like this is an essential part of life. How do you find it? Really, you can't, it is entirely up to you. Love is not something that falls out of the sky, and just hits you on the head. True and lasting love that will change your life forever takes hard work, and dedication forever. But the joys and the rewards will be lasting.

Lets take a look and hopefully gain some greater understanding. The hardest part of love to overcome on a personal level is the love of ourselves. A love that is true is self-less. That means that you must always put the needs of others above those of yourself. Now I must tread lightly for some would say that always putting the needs of others is a invitation to a life of getting stepped on and beat down by the selfish people of this world. I am not advocating being a door-mat for the world to tread upon as an act of love. In my understanding self preservation is a basic human need, and if the need arises it should be called upon out of a respect for yourself. But in your deepest relationships you need to act out of a motivation of selflessness. The things you do should always put the other before you. Do this, and your reward will be great, for it is true human nature.

Who am I, and what have I done with myself?

Life is about change, and hopefully change for the better. However, it appears that there is a struggle in each of us to stay the same. The same old way we always have been. Why is it so hard for us to change if we know that in the end it will be better, if our lives will be more complete? I don't understand it, even in myself.
The battle of the mind, a difficult and hardy battle.

Creativity, and life.

Creativity is an esential part of life. When a man no longer can creatively live life in such a way to be driven by the creative winds - then he is dead to himself. It is often heard that there are two types of people in the world, the creative type, and the analytical type. The creative type being those that have artistic ability, and the ability to create works of manifest beauty from nothing more than a piece of charcoal and 50lb paper. The analytical type being those that can, and do enjoy making sense of large quantities of numbers. In my experience (namely that I can relate to both of those types of individuals) there is only one type of person: Creative. Life is all about creativity no matter what it is you do. When you have lost the ability to create, you have lost who you are.
